Filip Flisar Jetpack

Filip Flisar accepted the challenge and went skiing with Jetpackom on the back.

If skiing is your way of life, it's considered a duty to wrap up each winter season in style. Judging by the video above, it's safe to say Slovenian ski-cross star Filip Flisar nailed it this year.
After an intense season of competing around the globe, the skiing world’s favourite moustache had one more thing on his to-do list before putting his skis away for the summer. It all started with a challenge, proposed to Filip on Instagram.
Needless to say, Filip’s reaction was: 'Challenge accepted!'
With Evel Knievel not around, where does one acquire a working jet pack? Filip sought the help of a technician, who also replied: “Challenge Accepted.” One month, one jet turbine, a few skydiving harnesses and a lot of carbon fibre later, everything was set for blast off. The outcome?Let's just say Filip had the ride of his life, involving 96,000 revolutions per minute, 40kg of thrust, temperatures of up to 850°C and exhaust capable of speeds up to 120kph.

The challenge took place on Pokljuka, a picturesque plateau and alpine sports venue in Slovenia.
I am fascinated by the amount of control you can achieve with this thing. Now that we’ve built and tested it, many other possibilities for its use have appeared out of nowhere, ha ha!
