No Contest Fiji Episode 1

The world's return to Fiji, and the forecast is... good times.

For a minute there, it looked as if the South Pacific leg of pro surfing's favourite behind-the-scenes video series was going to kick off with a bang. The mega swell on Monday, May 23 no doubt ignited more than a few butterflies in the stomachs of the world’s best surfers. But after a medium-sized run of surf for the first few days of Fiji’s waiting period, the whole contest scene has gone – well, pacific.
No worries, though. The boys have been using their time wisely, sniffing out every little tube at Cloudbreak and enjoying some downtime on Namotu, and – if you’re Josh Kerr  catching the odd fish. Classic No Contest conditions for our ace filmer, Jacob Wooden
