In one week, the 2024 Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final and Weekender USA will take place in Atlanta, Georgia – a hotspot for Black creatives and the city that truly sets the trends. The best dancers in the U.S. will come to ATL for an extended weekend to celebrate culture, creative connection, and the active lifestyle of the dance community.
To kick off what will be a memorable weekend, on Friday, global dance icons, Ladia Yates and David ‘The Crown’ Stalter Jr., will host dance-focused workshops that will teach attendees how to prepare and be ready for battle and the ins and outs of today’s hip-hop environment. Friday night will culminate in an electric Red Bull Dance Your Style Battle Night at Center Stage. Battle Night will be full of various exhibition battles including the hand-picked Team vs. Team showcase.
Saturday will be jam packed with more workshops from afro-dance experts, Queen Kaffy and Samuel ‘Hooliboy’ Kyei, followed by a voguing session with the one-and-only, Honey Balenciaga. For anyone interested in the intersection of ATL’s iconic locations and the cultural dance community, check out the Atlanta Beltline and Brunch Session at A/V Radio. All of the day’s events will lead up to the much anticipated Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final at Underground Atlanta, where sixteen of the country’s top dancers will battle for the title of Red Bull Dance Your Style USA Champion. To add to the weekend excitement, hip-hop icon, rapper, and producer, Soulja Boy, will grace the stage for an unforgettable performance.
