Ever since he started playing padel at the age of eight, Juan Lebrón Chincoa has never stopped working on his game. Fast forward to today and he’s one of the the world’s top players. He earned the nickname 'El Lobo' (the wolf) and became the first Spaniard to achieve the world number-one ranking in padel.
Lebrón and his previous padel partner Alejandro Galán were almost unstoppable in the World Padel Tour over a number of seasons, winning numerous World Padel Tour events everywhere from Barcelona, Madrid and València in 2020 to Alicante, Lugo, Mahon and Santander in 2021. Prior to teaming up with Galán, Lebrón partnered with Paquito Navarro, with whom he won five tournaments and reached the top of the world rankings.
Right now Lebrón is focused on maintaining his place among the world's top-ranked padel players.
While his dominance has been challenged in recent times, his drive and determination remain undiminished. The 2024 season may not have gone exactly as planned, but Lebrón's journey is far from over. He continues to push boundaries, innovate and inspire, solidifying his status as a true icon of padel.
Having been at the pinnacle of the sport, and with the experience of overcoming adversity, Lebrón is ready to write the next chapter of his padel story, competing for the top spots alongside his new 2025 partner Franco Stupaczuk, a versatile left side player whose explosive playing style should perfectly complement Lebrón’s on-court intelligence and talent.
