StarCraft 2 Campaign Cheats
RTS gaming is fun and challenging, but no one said you never needed a little bit of help, right?
Balancing a solid RTS experience with contextual missions built around the game’s narrative is always a challenge -- the experience you get from the single-player game is fundamentally different to the one you get while playing competitive online multiplayer, which is why adding cheats to the solo experience isn’t just a bit of helpful fun, it’s also not illegal to do, as it would be in multiplayer.
Below is a list of cheats for the single-player portion of StarCraft 2 where the phrase we offer needs only be typed in the chat box. Most can be disabled as soon as they’ve been turned on be re-entering the phrase, however, some can also be stacked by typing the phrase multiple times.
Phrase: “black sheep wall” - Reveal the entire map. This cheat can be re-entered to disable.
Phrase: “game over man” - This is an instant loss cheat that… helps the enemy. So, maybe don’t use it.
Phrase: “breathe deep” - Use this to continuously earn 500 Vespene Gas.
Phrase: “medieval man” - This enables all abilities and can be turned off be re-entering.
Phrase: “food for thought” - This raises your supply to 200, negating the need for supply depots and their faction equivalents.
Phrase: “noglues” - The enemy isn’t capable of using psionic abilities against you.
Phrase: “power overwhelming” - This is basically GOD-mode, but in the case of the queen's lethal spawn broodling ability, you are touchable.
Phrase: “modify the phase variance” - Your buildings no longer require prerequisites for completion.
Phrase: “operation cwal” - Basically just gives you faster building and upgrades are instantaneous.
Phrase: “ophelia” - With this cheat you can choose any mission, and depending on the game you’re playing you’ll just be required to enter the race with an “x” pretext to their name (eg: xterran).
Phrase: “show me the money” - Gain an immediate 10,000 minerals and gas (can be repeated).
Phrase: “staying alive” - Continue to play even after you’ve either won or been defeated.
Phrase: “there is no cow level” - Instant win. No effort beyond typing needed.
Phrase: “something for nothing” - Free upgrades. As good as it sounds.
Phrase: “the gathering” - Abilities don’t use any energy from your precious stockpile.
Phrase: “whats mine is mine” - 500 minerals, out of the gate (repeatable).
Phrase: “war aint what it used to be” - Removes Fog of War.
