In photos: The Californian who calls the US, Europe and Indonesia home has a sharp eye for surf.
Damea's game-play is simple. "What turns me on about surf photography is getting good surf and travelling the world. There's nothing better than walking down to the beach in a foreign country and finding perfect surf and then surfing and documenting it."
When he doesn't have a camera in his paw, Damea runs a little barber shop on the Indonesian island of Bali. The haircuts? Hipster slices, mostly, but like his photography, his work is always transformative.
