The inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was held in November 2009 and was Formula One’s first ever day-night race. It proved a memorable event, not least for Sebastian Vettel who became its first winner. The stunning Yas Marina Circuit is another Hermann Tilke design and stands on Yas Island with the fabulous five-star Yas Hotel dominating the view.
