The RB17 Hypercar

This historic event takes place from July 11-14, with the RB17 Hypercar revealed on Friday 12. And it's not just any car launch – the RB17, designed by the visionary Adrian Newey, marks Oracle Red Bull Racing's audacious leap into the future of hypercars. Imagine a two-seat marvel crafted from carbon fibre, powered by a roaring V10 engine, and capable of reaching speeds that blur the line between exhilaration and disbelief. Only 50 RB17s will be built, making them testaments to cutting-edge engineering and the result of a rigorous prototype testing programme.

A lineup of motorsport stars

What’s more, motorsport royalty graces the Goodwood Festival of Speed stage, promising a reunion of some of Oracle Red Bull Racing's most celebrated heroes. The lineup includes 13-time F1 Grand Prix winner David Coulthard and Patrick Friesacher, the team's longest-serving exhibition driver. Big names from the Drifting and Rally world will also attend, including Mike Whiddett, Ahmad Daham, Conor Shanahan, Elfyn Evans and Catie Munnings.

Mad Mike's Mclaren P1 launch

New Zealand drifter Mike Whiddett, aka 'Mad Mike', has something extra special up his sleeves. With the help of car specialists Lanzante, he's creating a one-of-a-kind drift car out of a McLaren P1. The extreme build, nicknamed MADMAC, will be unveiled at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed to the hungry crowd waiting to see its modifications and if it ditches the original hybrid powertrain.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb

With all these iconic machines and legendary drivers at the ready, the Goodwood Festival of Speed Hillclimb awaits the fleet to thunder up the historic slope. This 1.16-mile course, snaking up the Goodwood House grounds, transforms into a challenging track each year. Cars, motorcycles and even experimental prototypes from all eras of motorsport race against the clock to achieve the fastest uphill climb.
Overall, this year's event is more than just a celebration; it embodies Oracle Red Bull Racing's spirit and pays tribute to a 20-year legacy of pushing boundaries and defying expectations.
