The Red Bull Air Race World Championship returns to the skies, with the first round of 2015 taking place in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, February 14. Love will be in the air, of course, on Valentine's Day, and besides that 14 of the world's best aerobatic pilots racing at speeds of up to 370kph!
As well as the competition in the Master Class boasting the same 12 experienced pilots as 2014, with the likes of the reigning champion Nigel Lamb and Paul Bonhomme (both from the UK), Austria's Hannes Arch and Canada's Pete McLeod, two new pilots will be joining the ranks: Spain's Juan Velarde and France's François Le Vot (pictured, below). Both excelled in last year's Challenger Class, which has allowed them to take the next step.

Nigel Lamb believes this year's series has the potential to be the most competitive yet.
"This year could be anybody’s," says Lamb, who, after a slow start to 2014, podiumed in the last five races of the season before going on to lift the world championship title.
"Everybody’s been on the podium, except the two new guys, and both of them are very, very good. It's a campaign and there could be some big, big surprises this year."
See if there are any surprises in store in the opening race, with the live stream from Abu Dhabi starting at 4pm local time (12pm GMT/1pm CET) on Saturday, February 14.
