Check out everything that’s new in the update that went live on March 5.
An exciting new playlist called Red Bull Speed Clash, featuring racing disciplines like Alpha Grand Prix, Rally, Moto GP, and Motocross Bikes will be live from the start of Season 6. It’ll feature multi-category races, allowing you to race cars against planes.
Then, on May 7, Red Bull Wild Ride will be added. Spanning all of Maui, you’ll be taking on extreme events in crazy Red Bull cars. Famous Red Bull drivers will have set times of their own for you to beat, and you’ll get a look at their attempts in cinematics before the events begin.
02
Red Bull Playground expansion and Red Bull Car Cannon
The brilliant Red Bull Playground, located at the summit of Mount Haleakalā is being expanded. Its events can now cover the entirety of the island, rather than a select area. On top of that, and new Red Bull cars and playlists, you can even be launched across the map by a giant Red Bull cannon in Season 6. You’ll find it in the Red Bull Playground.
03
New playlist modes
Two new playlist modes are also being added and will be featured in the Red Bull playlists. First, Multi-VCat lets you compete in events that allow for multiple vehicle types. Whether you choose a car, a bike, or a plane, the track you race on will be different, but it’ll all be part of the same event.
Secondly, Action List tasks you with completing a list of actions. To claim the top spot, you need to complete them as quickly as you can. You’ll also want to hit targets to increase your score as you complete the event.
You’ll find the new feat type dotted around the map. Much like speed traps, you just need to find them to complete them. Drive over the ramp at high speed, getting more points the further you fly.
A new option for your radio while exploring the island is being added in Season 6. You can turn on Motorfest the Podcast, hosted by Becky Evans. The likes of Yuki Tsunoda, Robbie Maddison, and the Drift Brothers will be spoken to on the show. It’ll shed some light on various areas of the automotive and racing industries for all petrol heads. You’ll also be able to listen to the show on all streaming platforms, like any other podcast.
07
Challenging gameplay modifiers
For the first time, you’ll be able to add a Pro Racing modifier to events. With it active, you’ll be able to race with no nitro, cockpit view, no mini map, or even no speedometer.
08
Map changes
Various changes are coming to the Crew Motorfest map. The Kihei/Wailea area is being expanded, a new Paia Villa can be visited, new festival locations will arrive alongside volcano-themed art light installations, and Maui Island will have new visuals and scenery enhancements.
17 new vehicles are coming to The Crew Motorfest in Season 6. Some of them, such as the Ivory Tower Aezus GT, are returning from previous seasons, while others are brand new. You’ll be able to pick up iconic cars such as the Red Bull RB20 F1 car from the in-game store. Nine of the new cars have been revealed, with the remainder being released as a surprise throughout the new season.
