Much like how you’re never more than 6ft from a Pret A Manger, another irrefutable certainty of living in London is how it’s the best city in the world for running.
Don’t take our word for it though – those fitness bods at Strava have calculated that Londoners love pavement bounding more than any other city types in the world. And to show just where we're all running we suggest taking a gander at the company's GPS heat map, which, when not giving away secret military bases, tracked almost 3 million runs across the capital in 2017.

From docklands to parkland to cobbled streets and those futuristic cityscapes hugging The Thames, no stone has been left unturned by Strava with the most popular points hard to miss: Canary Wharf is scorching, Battersea Park looks like it's been hit by a lightcycle from Tron, and Victoria Park and Regent’s Canal could well be a streak of piping hot magma.
