Max Verstappen hasn’t hidden the fact that he uses online simulators to help him improve his F1 racecraft. Now, a simracing video has emerged of him trying out the Spa-Francorchamps track.
Given that Verstappen performed an incredible overtake around the outside of Felipe Nasr during last year's Belgian Grand Prix, the hours on the sim seem to be paying off. The Dutch teenager even joined the Team Redline simracing squad during the F1 summer break last year to keep his skills sharp, and attributed some of his sensational overtaking moves in the latter half of the F1 season to the fact that he’d tried them out in the virtual world first.
