Watch what happened when Anz captured the world’s most difficult downhill mountain bike course in the video above.
Last year, Red Bull Hardline returned for its fifth consecutive year, challenging riders to take on one of the toughest downhill mountain bike races in the world.
For the 2018 event, Red Bull teamed up with Shure, specialists in all things audio, to create Red Bull Soundscapes – a project that challenges rising music producers to capture the sounds of Red Bull’s flagship sporting events and make them into brand new music productions. Along for the ride this time was Manchester electronic producer Anz, who used the brand new Shure MV88+ microphone to explore the audio world of Hardline – from crunchy landings over the course’s notorious freeride-style jumps to the sound of bike maintenance and the cheers of the crowd.
