Since the beginning of his skydiving career in 2009, Marco Fürst has pushed himself to reach his goals. "There are no problems," says Fürst, "only challenges. I always try solution-oriented thinking and to give my best in each jump."
Since 2014, Fürst has been part of the Red Bull Skydive Team and is a much-valued member with all his expertise and creativity: "My goal is to work together with the Red Bull Skydive Team to share my passion for skydiving." Fürst says: "I want to help to push the boundaries of what is possible in a safe way and to inspire people like this."
In May 2015, Fürst, together with four Red Bull Skydive Team colleagues, jumped over an Indonesian volcano from a helicopter hovering 4,000m above. The result was an unprecedented flight over Mount Bromo: "It was an incredible experience to jump over a volcano," says Fürst, "Flying right over the volcano was something none of us had ever experienced."
Then in 2017, Amy Chmelecki, Fürst, and Marco Waltenspiel flew in formation over the Croatian island of Galešnjak (known as the Island of Love) and formed cupid's arrow over the island in the air.
2024 saw yet another headline-grabbing performance as he and Waltenspiel became the first wingsuit pilots to make a flight through London's iconic Tower Bridge.
It's precisely these experiences that drive Marco Fürst today: "In 2009, I jumped out of a plane for the first time," Fürst recalls: "The incredible feeling of freedom, and the ability to use the airspace as a huge playground, fascinate me to this day. "
