Mathias Lauda currently races for Aston Martin Racing as a factory driver in the FIA World Endurance Championship. The son of three-time Formula One world champion Niki Lauda, Mathias started his career in single-seater racing, debuting in Formula Nissan 2000 in 2002. But after struggling to achieve any significant results, the Austrian turned his attention to touring cars. During his eight years in the FIA World Endurance Championship, Mathias has claimed 13 wins and in 2017 claimed the Endurance Trophy for LMGTE Am Drivers.
