It wasn't your average day at Bushy Park when Tony Hawk the Godfather of skateboarding, made a one off appearance in leafy Dublin 6. Hawk skated in front of a packed crowd filled with both skaters and spectators alike, demonstrating a handful of his tricks and proving why he is undoubtedly still one of the world's most skilled skaters. Local talent came in the form of Dubliners Keith Walsh and Gav Coughlan, who then took to the bowl showcasing the best of what an emerging and exciting Irish skate scene has to offer.
