Red Bull Soapbox Race has taken place in all corners of the globe and has been translated into other languages like French (“Caisses à Savon”), but the concept remains simple: invent and build an unpowered soapbox cart that looks epic, fun or downright ridiculous, dress up to suit your theme, point your cart down a hill lined with haybales and screaming fans, and then let go, trying to reach the finish line fastest of all without crashing.
As Amman, Jordan, hosts the 100th-ever Red Bull Soapbox Race event, the above clip is a glorious celebration of all of those things at 99 previous editions in 99 seconds.
