We’ve compiled the definitive list of League’s most hated champs, and there’s absolutely no arguing with it or our scientific methods.

We’ve all had League of Legends games where the frustration of playing against a specific champion has lead us to rip up that stress ball or slam down on our keyboard, as if smashing the delete key might somehow drain your opponent's life force with each vigorous mash.
Okay, maybe that last one is just us, but regardless, certain champs are more likely to elicit the fires of gamer rage, whether that’s due to troll-potential of their kit, or simply due to their efficiency as complete team-wipers. The list of untouchables below represents the 10 greatest offenders on Leagues 136-strong list. These champions make blood boil, often without much effort. Try as you may, they’ll often leave you cursing the moment you pressed play.
10. Soraka

Soraka is the worst kind of buzz kill; she doesn’t even crash the party in style. Instead her presence is a portent of drawn-out, arduous sieges. Whenever your target takes a few knocks, the lady of heals ensures they return full of pep, health bar knocking on full, over, and over and over again.
Picks become impossible, lane pushes a memory of games past. Soraka is wrecking you, but in the most mundane, frustrating way possible, and it just... makes you…. want to….. scream.
9. Riven

In the right hands, Riven consistently escapes trades scot-free whilst her opponent hobbles away, spitting distance from death. Once she’s begun her combo and the auto-attack resets have begun, there’s very little most lane opponents can do, and it’s maddening.
Add to that the fact that she’s manaless, snowballs like a beast, and can obnoxiously tower dive, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for top-lane tears.
8. Darius

And now, a poem:
Plz die Darius
Why aren’t you dying, Darius? Why aren’t you crying, Darius? You’re health’s but a sliver, Darius. But you swing it bigger, Darius. Every, single, time.
7. Malzahar

Malefic Visions has to be one of the most, if not the absolute most annoying spell in League of Legends: it’s point and click, it can move from target to target indefinitely, and when you’re caught on low health it serves as little more than a countdown death timer. You can see your demise coming, and it’s utterly infuriating.
Combine that with Malzahar’s deceptively hardy voidlings and CC ultimate, neither of which he has to aim, and you’re looking at a point-and-click nightmare.
6. Shen

Shen’s home is the top lane, but his terror is map-wide. As long as he’s alive and kicking, no one is safe, and none of your usual 1vs1 trades or ganks work. He transforms the Rift into one big No Fun Zone.
5. Lee Sin

He’ll kick you here, he’ll kick you there, he’ll kick you almost everywhere. Lee Sin’s potent combination of high mobility, durability, CC and damage makes him a nightmare to fight against. He’s fantastic at honing in on targets and superb at displacing them or saving himself. Even if you sustain the brunt of his attack, the chances of killing him are minimal as he’ll just ward hop the hell out of there.
A great Lee Sin lands his Sonic Wave every single time, and the his reward is paid in fear.
4. Nidalee

One word: spears. It’s common knowledge that Nidalee’s spears possess mind-bending magic, causing summoners to hurl themselves upon the tip, generally at max distance to ensure that 50 percent or more of the victim’s health bar disappears.
3. Fizz

The Tidal Trickster always has a way out. By hopping up onto his trident using Playful/Trickster he can avoid incoming abilities, and the return damage he can deal is terrifying. Mid-laners can’t lock him down, and also can’t escape, leading Fizz to dominate the lane and snowball his way to victory.
He also deals what are frankly disgusting levels of damage using Churn the Waters at max range, making him one of the nimblest, and most achingly annoying assassins in the game.
2. Teemo

Need we say anything about Teemo? He can make himself invisible, he plants invisible poison bombs, he looks like a Beanie Baby; what could any opponent possibly like about any of these things?
This yordle is the troll classique of League of Legends, laying traps into which innocent summoners strolling through the jungle will inevitably stumble. It’s never just a single mushroom either – oh no, it’s a bloody nest of the things. As you’re choking on what remains of your health bar, Teemo inevitably appears right beneath your nose, spitting a poison dart that seals your fate and releases salty, salty tears.
1. Yasuo

It was a tough decision, but Yasuo is, we’ve finally concluded, even more annoying than Teemo. The mushroom beast has easy to engage, clearly definable counters, but Yasuo is, in the right hands, near-unassailable.
He’s fiddly, with a high skill bar which many players simply can’t overcome. But for those who can master him, the rewards are enormous. Windwall blocks all incoming abilities for a significant period, and careful Yasuos use its protection, along with his formidable ability to knock up, crit, and repeatedly dash, to run rings around his opponents whilst dealing sickening amounts of damage. It oughtn’t be allowed.
