Hailing from Prague, Eva Adamczyková has been racing snowboard cross (SBX) competitively since 2008 and is seen as one of the greatest talents in Czech winter sports.
Having enjoyed a hugely successful junior career, becoming a world champion on three occasions, Eva effortlessly made the step up to elite level, becoming the 2013 Czech Republic National Champion and placing fourth overall in the 2013 World Cup rankings.
One year later she claimed a silver medal at the X Games and then won gold for her country in Sochi. It was not just Eva's incredible performances that caught the eye in Russia, with the Czech snowboard superstar competing with a fake moustache drawn on her face. “It's for luck,” she says. “I just want to have fun!”
Eva has continued to unleash a string of supreme performances on the monster-sized jumps and bumps of the SBX slope. In 2017 she was crowned the world champion and one year later claimed bronze in Pyeongchang.
2019 saw Eva land another world title, while in 2021 she dominated the World Cup, winning three of the season's six races to become a three-time world champion.
Always pushing herself and consistently challenging for titles, Eva is showing no signs of slowing down just yet.
