Jack Nowell has always been one for the big occasions. The England winger has a habit of scoring important tries when it matters, including in the 2013 U20 Rugby World Cup and 2017 Aviva Premiership finals.
Jack came through in the Cornish Pirates junior squad before a move to Premiership outfit, Exeter Chiefs. He made his professional debut in 2012, and went on to win the Breakthrough Player Award for the 2012/13 season.
He soon became a regular in the squad and played a crucial role in 2016 as the Chiefs reached their first ever Premiership final. Despite scoring a try in the final, they had to settle for runners-up to Saracens. The following season he again scored a try in the final, this time helping Exeter overcome Wasps to claim their maiden Premiership title.
Injuries, including a burst appendix and ankle surgery, set him back in 2019, but Jack returned to action in 2020 to help Exeter Chiefs secure the club's first Champions Cup title with a narrow 31-27 win over French side, Racing 92. More glory followed a week later, in the form of a Premiership title victory over Wasps that secured the club's first league-and-cup double.
On the international stage, Jack made his debut for England in 2014 and has gone on to represent his country in numerous Six Nations championships as well as at the 2015 and 2019 World Cup.
He was also a member of the 2017 British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand, where he helped the Lions secure a historic draw in the final two Tests.
In 2023, Jack made the decision to leave the Exeter Chiefs after 11 years and will now play for La Rochelle in the Top 14 in France.
