Lilou Ruel loves to go fast. So much so that her first passion was speed skating. But at the age of nine, everything changed when she discovered parkour. She instantly began training, even installing a scaffolding structure in the family garden.
Perfecting her moves around the streets of Toulouse, Lilou began to take part in competitions and was 16 when she competed at her first Red Bull Art of Motion in 2019.
Just two years later she became the world freerunning champion but conquering the world was not enough. Lilou decided to make history by becoming the first woman to cross the legendary 'Manpower' jump in Évry, France. After a full year of training, she successfully conquered the 4.5m gap that stands at an intimidating height of 15m.
What's next for Lilou? Well, she dreams of becoming a stuntwoman and working in film and TV. Given her determination, we're sure this dream will soon become reality.
