Lindsey Vonn has set more records in Alpine Skiing than most historians can count. She is the winningest female ski racer in the history of the FIS Ski World Cup with currently 78 victories, only trailing the legendary Swede Ingemar Stenmark who had 86. Her career was launched on a small ski bump known as Buck Hill in Minnesota, USA, and now features four overall World Cup titles and a whopping 20 FIS World Cup crystal globes. She's also one of only six women ever to have won at least once in all the five events in the FIS Ski World Cup.
Vonn returned to racing this season after another longish absence due to injury. After crashes, back pain and other challenges during the early season, she finally broke through in early December to win her first World Cup race since a downhill victory nearly a year prior. Lindsey Vonn is determined to continue to write more skiing history, including a downhill race against the men.

What's your first memory skiing? What were the most beautiful and the hardest moments in your career? How is it possible to go through several injuries and comebacks and still land right back on the podium? And when did you come up with the very daring idea to want to race against men?
