Jamie Foy has accomplished enough high points in just 12 months to fill an entire career. From putting out one jaw-dropping part for Deathwish, carrying the team on his back during King of the Road, getting on Deathwish and making the massive jump to pro status, he's proved to the world of skateboarding that he's one of the best in the game. With 2017 just about wrapped up, the ultimate validation of his past 12 months has come in the form of skateboarding's highest honour – Foy's been named Thrasher Magazine's Skater of the Year.
Built out of bricks and able to take slams that would have most re-considering career choices, he's able to pull from his bottomless bag of tricks on features of any size. We don't need to talk about that too much, though – just take a look at the clips up above and down below for a bit of a recap.
