The first-ever tournament in the US provided glamour, excitement and drama in equal measure as the 'Chingalán' duo took their first tournament victory of the season.
In an electrifying final at the inaugural Premier Padel Miami stop, Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto stormed to a dominant victory, showcasing their superior skills and undeniable chemistry on the court. The duo defeated Galán's former partner, Juan Lebrón, and Franco Stupaczuk 6-1, 7-6, securing their first title of the season

Galán and Chingotto find their rhythm
Well-rested and hungry for a new win (they were among the majority of pairs who didn’t participate in the Cancún P2 a week ago), second-seeded Federico Chingotto - Alejandro Galán entered the Miami P1 looking to make a statement.
In the quarter-finals, the duo faced the dangerous fifth seeds formed by extraordinary defender Martín Di Nenno and smashing specialist Javi Garrido. Garrido and Di Nenno, however, could not follow the second seeds' pace, who overwhelmed them to advance to the semis (6-1, 6-2).
In the semis, 'Galántico' and 'Chingo' encountered the resilient fourth seeds formed by Mike Yanguas and Coki Nieto, two of the best defenders in the world. The semi-final looked nothing like the previous match, with Coki and Mike taking the top seeds to three sets in a three-hour-long battle (6-2, 4-6, 7-6).
In the final against third-seeded Juan Lebrón – Franco Stupaczuk, 'Chingalán' started the game with authority, leading 6-1 after the first set. Despite stepping it up a notch in the second set, 'El Lobo' and 'Stupa' never found a way to outpower Galán and Chingotto, who dominated them in the tie break to get the final win (6-1, 7-6).
This win at the Miami P1 marks Chingalán’s first trophy of the season, catching up with top seeds Agustín Tapia – Arturo Coello, who emerged victorious after the inaugural Riyadh P1 tournament.

Triay and Brea win third consecutive title
Gemma Triay and Delfina Brea, the top new pair on the circuit, joined forces during the last offseason with one goal: to win. So far, they've proven this goal is well within their reach, declaring their intentions with a rock-solid style of play that overwhelmed their opponents from the start of the tournament.
In the quarters, Triay and Brea came across the talented team formed by Tamara Icardo – Claudia Jensen, who were no match for Triay and Brea’s vast experience in high-stakes matches of this type. This experience proved to be a decisive factor as Triay and Brea made playing at the highest level look easy and secured the win (6-2, 6-1).
The semi-final match against fourth-seeded Marta Ortega – Sofía Araújo followed a similar script, with Triay and Brea imposing their pace from the start to swiftly advance to another final (6-2, 6-2).
The final game was a match-up that we'll likely see a lot of this season, as Gemma and 'Delfi' faced top seeds Ariana Sánchez and Paula Josemaría. These two pairs consistently prove they are playing just a step above the rest and this final was an apt demonstration of that. After a thrilling duel, Triay and Brea ground out a hard-fought win (2-6, 6-1, 6-4), their third consecutive title after securing the trophy at the Gijón and Cancún P2 tournaments.

Premier Padel landed in Miami for the tour’s first-ever tournament in the US. The city's glamour, energy and booming padel scene provided the perfect stage for the world’s best teams to shine.
The level of play at the Miami P1 was nothing short of extraordinary – lightning-quick reflexes, impossible angles and moments of brilliance that left fans in awe. From the first serve to the final point, the players pushed themselves to the limit, feeding off the crowd’s energy and turning every match into an unforgettable experience. It was padel at its best played by the best in the world and embraced by a city that knows how to host a show.

Miami magic you might've missed
During the semi-final match between third-seeded Lebrón – Stupaczuk and first-seeded Arturo Coello – Agustín Tapia, Lebrón recovered Coello’s thunderous smash as he turned around while exiting the court to finish an intense rally with this perfect winner hitting the ball at the net.
In the other semi-final clash between Galán – Chingotto and fourth-seeded Mike Yanguas – Coki Nieto, Galán recovered two insane shots from their rivals that looked like winners, setting Chingotto up to end the point with an accurate volley through the middle.
In the women’s semi-final between second-seeded Gemma Triay – Delfina Brea and fourth-seeded Marta Ortega – Sofía Araújo, Brea caught Araújo off guard with this backhand volley after the four players completed one of the tournament’s longest points.
In the other semis match-up between top-seeded Ariana Sánchez – Paula Josemaría and third-seeded Bea González – Claudia Fernández, Josemaría brilliantly executed this parallel shot off an early bounce to leave her opponents helpless.
