The Ice Cross Downhill World Championship has a new leader following a night of non-stop action in Belfast. Canada’s Scott Croxall led the final race of the evening from start to finish to pick up 1,000 precious ranking points and leapfrog past his brother Kyle on the overall leaderboard.

The other big winners on the fastest track of the season were also Canadian, as Dylan and Dean Moriarity took the remaining podium positions. Dylan may have beaten his brother Dean to second place on the night, but Dean was able to celebrate moving into second spot in the championship classification, as he joined Scott in passing Kyle Croxall.

Kyle Croxall suffered his slip down the leaderboard after being eliminated at the quarter-final stage in Belfast. Fellow big hitters to leave the contest before the final were Cameron Naasz (USA) and reigning champion Marco Dallago (AUT). Last year’s Red Bull Crashed Ice title winner was beaten by his brother, Luca Dallago, at the semi-final stage of what turned out to be a real family battle in Northern Ireland.
Now the action moves to Edmontonfor the final round of the 2015 Ice Cross Downhill World Championship. The local crowd will have the chance to cheer three Canadians with a great chance of taking this year’s title.
