01
The course in detail
The original course took over 7,500 hours to build and with the new features added for the 2025 event, the riders have really got their hands full. The new additions include a motocross whoop section followed by a scrubby table top at the mid-point, along with an additional drop down, table and big finisher to round out the course. Existing sections have also been tweaked to add more technicality and decision making for riders. You can check it all out for yourself in the site and track map below.

The new track in numbers
- Track Length - 2.8km
- Vertical elevation - 575m
- Largest gap jump - 24m
- Largest vertical drop - 10m+
- Estimated course race time – 3m 30s
- Highest elevation – 925m above sea level
- The surface on the course changes three times, which results in totally different rock and soil types throughout the course.
Course designer, and the brains behind Maydena Bike Park, Simon French says: "On the edge of Tasmania’s South West Wilderness, Maydena Bike Park has provided a perfect canvas for developing a course that's befitting of the Red Bull Hardline legacy. Using nearly 600m of vertical elevation, the course takes in a huge diversity of forest types, terrain and trail features. After a massive few months of construction, we look forward to welcoming riders on the course soon and their reactions to new sections and a longer track."
