The first-ever Red Bull X-Fighters stop in Greece promises to deliver one of the most exciting nights in the competition’s history. An especially sculpted course within the historic Dionyssos Marble Quarry on Mount Penteli is the venue where the best freestyle motocross riders on the planet will do battle. Watch FMX legend Ronnie Renner explain the site in the player above.
The track took three weeks to build and features a record-setting three Kickers, three Super Kickers, two Dirt Jumps and three Quarter Pipes. Every element of the course will come into play on Friday, June 12 as a dozen world renowned FMX riders, including eight former Red Bull X-Fighters winners, will fight for valuable World Tour points.
The trio from the podium of the season opener in Mexico City, with the surprise winner Clinton Moore, ahead of Levi Sherwood and Tom Pagès will have their hands full with the field packed with top contenders. Reigning World Tour Champion Josh Sheehan and Taka Higashino will be making their 2015 debuts in Athens and trying to catch up in the tour standings.
See the action unfold live right here, from 8.30pm (CEST) on Friday, June 12.
