About Me

"My parents love motorbikes and have always had them, and that´s how I got into it. My parents have been, and still are, absolutely everything for me. From mini-bikes to the European Talent Cup, and the thousands of kilometres in between races and training, they are my rock. My Dad is a Plumber and my mum looks after the family, I have one sister who is five years younger than me."
"My favourite subject at school is physical education, When I am not racing or training I like Listening to music and playing videogames. My heroes are Marc Márquez and Casey Stoner and I want to be MotoGP World Champion like them."
My best race ever was Race 2 at Motorland Aragon, 2022, in the ESBK PreMoto3. After a bad start and being touched by another rider, I went from 14th to 1st in three laps and won the race by ten seconds ahead of second place. Despite it not being my best result, my best race in 2024 was Race 2 in the European Talent Cup, Estoril. I started in pole position and tried to break away from the group, but I couldn't. I then sat and waited behind the group until the final laps, when I moved up into first place. I finished 3rd, 0,004 of a second behind the winner.
"What I enjoy most about racing is pushing the bike to the limit. I also like winning and working with the team. I love fast corners and tracks with rises and falls. My biggest mistake in racing was crashing on the final corner of the last lap when I was first."

2025 Season

David had a significant step forward in 2025, transforming him from a consistent contender into a race-winning threat. González quickly established himself as a front-runner, eventually finishing a very strong 4th overall in the championship standings of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
González maintained high consistency, securing top-ten finishes early in Jerez and Le Mans. The critical shift came mid-season, where he began challenging for victories, defined by his first podiums with a double third-place finish at MotorLand Aragón, immediately followed by securing an impressive second place (P2) at Mugello. This run placed him firmly in the fight for the overall championship top three.
The culmination of his efforts arrived at the final round in Misano. After a season of near misses, González saved his best performance for the very last race; fighting for the lead, he executed a defining, last-lap, late-braking pass into the final corner to claim his first career victory in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, cementing his status as a breakthrough talent. His strong championship finish and breakthrough victory acted as the decisive stepping stone, securing him a coveted seat on the Moto3 World Championship grid for the 2026 season.
