"Since childhood I played a lot with toy motorcycles and asked for a real bike at christmas, it arrived. When I was little it was always Motocross, but in 2006 I wanted to try the 50cc test for the Catalan Championship and I loved it. Since then I have not stopped racing. I gave away my toy motorcycles and have wanted a bigger and bigger race bike every year."
"Without my parents this would not have been possible, since I was small they supported me and never stop believing in me and thanks to that, step by step things have worked out."
For Oscar it is not just about taking part. "I always want to be first, and if I cannot, as close up front as possible. This year I would like to get as much up front as possible, but also learn, grow, and enjoy the Red Bull Cup and every step forward I make."
"Of course it is not just to win, you must also accept defeat ever. I really love working with the team, tell the problems I have, to draw conclusions for improvement and learn from the mistakes made."
"I have had very many races that I like, it is hard to pick out just one but in 2010 I loved the way the Spanish 70cc championship started with a fight at every turn with Fabio Quartararo. This year in the Honda cup I also loved the first race at Motorland. We were a group of eight, battling at every turn until the end, I ended up taking the win."
Oscar's favourite subject at school is Physical Education, his favourite thing to do when not racing; Training on a motorcycle or physically. His racing hero is Marc Marquez
This year he is particularly looking forward to the first of the Italian races. "The track I love is Mugello because it's very wide and fast circuit. Beyond that he has great ideas for the future. "I would like to win the Red Bull Rookies Cup, then take on the world, become champion of the three categories and hopefully break records."
