“My dad raced motorcycles and won the South African National Superbike championship and the UAE Superbike championship. My dad bought me a peewee 50 when I was 5 years old, and after that I started racing motocross and eventually started road racing.”
“My parents always supported me since I started racing, my dad has a good racing background and so I learnt a lot from my dad. My dad plays a very big part in my career and funds my racing which I am very grateful for.”
“My dad has a transport business and my mum is a human resources manager. I have a little sister Miha, she is 4 years younger than me.”
“At school I like maths and when I am not racing I like cycling and training.”
“My racing heroes are Brad Binder, Darryn Binder, Marc Marquez and my dad. I want to become MotoGP World Champion.”
“In 2021 I was racing in Spain and I learnt to adapt to different bikes and riding conditions and stay calm in difficult situations. In 2022 I want to learn a lot, improve a lot and give it my 100%.”
“My best race in 2020 was in the Spanish Superbike round in Jerez in the Promo3 category I lead a lot of laps and finished the race in 2nd place.”
“My best race of 2021 was at the FIM CEV Repsol European Talent Cup race in Jerez. I raced for Cuna de Campeones and I was able to show my potential. I finished the race in 9th position.”
“I like tracks that have fast and flowing corners with a lot of change of direction, they give me the most satisfaction.”
“I like looking at the data to see where I can improve and working with the technicians to find a good bike set-up. I enjoy working on my weak points and improving. Racing and winning gives a lot of satisfaction and it is a great feeling.”
"In 2022 I learnt a lot in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. In the beginning of the year I started quite slowly and I was not very fast but race by race I got better and gained valuable experience."
"My best race was in Aragon where I finished 10th. In 2022, I learnt to be on the pace from the first session of the weekend and learn new circuits quickly."
In 2023, I made big steps and I led many races. My best race was in Le Mans where I finished 3rd, it is a moment that I will never forget.
My best qualifying result was 2nd in Portimão. In the European Talent Cup my best result was 3rd. In 2023 I learnt how to lead races and race in groups.
In 2024 my goal is to fight for the championship and make the most out of this opportunity.
