Tomas Slavik, final run at Valparaiso Cerro Abajo

The action hots up in the streets of Chile for yet another edition of Red Bull Valparaiso.

Red Bull Valparaíso Cerro Abajo has been a fixture on the urban downhill circuit for the last five years and is rightly considered as the best event of its kind. This year's edition saw an entirely new course sculptured out of the historical streets, stairwells and narrow passageways that makes Chile's Valparaíso a UNESCO World Heritage City.
Despite the course changes, there was a familiar face on top of the podium with Slovakia's Filip Polc being crowned champion for the fourth time in a row. The Polcster’s winning time was clocked at 3:03:367. He finished ahead of Tomáš Slavík of the Czech Republic with Germany's Johannes Fischbach completing the top three positions.
