Rally de Espana Stages 13-15

There's plenty for Volkswagen to celebrate during the final stages of Rally de Espana.

A one-two victory in Spain has clinched the World Rally Championship manufacturers’ title for Volkswagen.
A supreme drive in Spain from Sebastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia gave the championship winning pair yet another race win. The Frenchmen were followed home by their Finnish team-mates Jari-Matti Latvala and Miikka Anttila.
The result at Rally de Espana has seen Volkswagen secure both the drivers’ championship and the manufacturers’ title with one race of the season to spare.
The factory team from Wolfsburg has won nine of the twelve rallies to date in the Polo R WRC’s debut year. Volkswagen only needed seventh place in round twelve of the series in Spain to add another World Championship title to the drivers’ trophy already bagged by Ogier.
With the British rally still to come in November, the defending champion Citroën can now no longer catch up with Volkswagen in the manufacturers’ championship.
