This wall isn’t Epic just because of the amazing artwork. It doesn’t stand out just because it is the brightest most colorful thing in the entire neighborhood lined with nothing but the brown facades of apartment buildings.
This wall marks the first time that Kuwait Street Artists came together in earnest to create something unique. Even more importantly it is the first time that Kuwait Street Artists came out and showed that taking the time to do something as a group legally helps beautify a neighborhood.
It also lets the artist take their time because they are not worried about trouble with law enforcement or upsetting property owners. When something is done in a legitimate way such as this wall people take notice. This wall was the jumping board for these artists into the public eye and has since lead to many, many more strewn about Kuwait.
Bufifty, Joegraffi, Kelsix, Mayya and Monstariam spent 3 long days working tirelessly to create something beautiful and truly unique. In doing so they also set a precedent and showed that Legal street art done with the permission of the property owners benefits everyone in the community.
