Freerunning star Ryan Doyle was joined by Yoann Leroux, Kevin Fluri and Jesse Peveril as they gained exclusive access to the Verkehrshaus der Schweiz – the Swiss Transport Museum – in Lucerne to film Red Bull X-Run.
Over two exhausting, but fulfilling nights of the most incredible athletic skill amounting to 20 hours in total, the four exponents of this most mesmerising of arts plied their trade in almost complete darkness.
British star Doyle and Frenchman Leroux, along with Swiss athletes Fluri and Peveril were charged with negotiating unfamiliar terrain with zero daylight over some of Switzerland's iconic forms of transport.
Among the historic forms of transport that the freerunners had to negotiate were the C 5/6 SBB locomotive (built in 1917) and popularly known as 'Elephant', the Swissair Convair 990 (1961) and the 1895-built steamer MS Move.
