When you think of Hawaii, you think of brute and brawn and all the intense things that make it surfing’s only true proving ground. You think of the North Shore. It’s the land of the wolves, really, and the competitive atmosphere can evoke a feeling of every man and woman fending for themselves.
But it’s not all like that.
In the third instalment of Red Bull’s Made In Hawaii series, we explore the other side of Hawaii. The family side, that is. We meet the Monizes, Kekoa Bacalso and Lyndie Irons and they show us the value of family on the world’s toughest stretch of sand.
Catch up with the rest of the Made in Hawaii series, with episodes one and two.
