Tune in on October 28 to see the Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos champ attempt a new world record.
Imagine being put on the spot and asked to perform a freestyle rap for 60 seconds. Scary, right? It would strike fear into even the most confident wordsmith.
Now imagine rapping non-stop for 24 hours to passers-by and a Red Bull TV livestream audience. It's the stuff of nightmares. But that's just what current Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos world champion – and two-time Spanish national champion – Arkano is attempting.
The 22-year-old rapper and computer science student from Alicante will attempt to bag himself a new world record when he raps non-stop, from 5pm CEST on October 28 until 5pm CEST on October 29 in the Spanish capital, Madrid.
Arkano has had plenty of practice – he won his first Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos national title at the age of 15. But will he have enough words to last the distance?
To make things harder, Arkano wont be allowed to eat any food – just protein shakes and gels. And he can't stop for more than three consecutive seconds. But fear not. Arkano has already successfully completed two 10-hour practice runs. So only another 14 to go.
Tune into Red Bull TV at 5pm CEST on October 28 to see if the Spanish rap champ can do it.
The Red Bull Batalla De Los Gallos World Final 2016 takes place in Lima, Peru, on November 12. Click here for more information.
