1. STRETCH AND MOBILITY

"Having a strong core and being really flexible is important in freestyle skiing to help execute the technical tricks. Sit-ups and basic ab exercises may get the job done, but in my sport we need a specific and tweaked routine to help keep our body together when we're flying through the air" - Nico Porteous

2. PLYOMETRICS

"I train my muscles to be as fast as they possible can as it's important to be explosive. But with being such an impact based sport, my body also needs to be able to stop and fast and safely as possible." - Nico Porteous

3. LOWER BODY

"It's important to have strong and robust legs in freestyle skiing. Since your leg muscles continue up into your back muscles, they need to be strong to help absorb some of the impact, so you an continue skiing all day long." - Nico Porteous
