Red Bull X-Fighters: What to expect in Madrid

All you need to know ahead of this weekend’s competition

Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, regarded as the home of bullfighting in Madrid, Spain, will host Red Bull X-Fighters for its 16th consecutive year, bringing together the world’s best FMX riders to showcase new and exciting tricks in a bid to secure their place on the podium.
Since its inception in 2001, Red Bull X-Fighters has grown to become the biggest and most respected freestyle motocross event in the world, welcoming every discipline of FMX, including Freestyle, Step up and Quarterpipe.
This year we are excited to see which riders will be pushing the envelope even further than before and throwing down mad tricks, who knows maybe there will even be a World First during this competition.

THE TRACK LAYOUT

The Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas in Madrid is one of the best venues in FMX and will host the only round of the Red Bull X-Fighters this year.
Three tunnels will allow riders to launch over the huge 35-metre centre ramp, while the track design will once again include two quarter pipes and Super-Kicker ramps for the 2017 event.
