Red Bull Skate Generation: format and categories
The past, present and future of skateboarding merge in Florianópolis, Brazil.

Red Bull Skate Generation 2021 is right around the corner. The sixth edition of the championship is going down on December 11. It's the biggest celebration of skateboarding, with all the generations of bowl riders competing together in teams. And you can watch everything live on Red Bull TV.
The contest will see 40 skateboarders from all around the world competing in a team jam session. The selection of the eight teams will happen before the event, putting together five skaters in each one. In this edition, we'll have three categories, including the inaugural women's category. Under 21

Bowl riders under the age of 21. Whether they're riding during competitions or just for fun, these guys are thirsty for new and explosive tricks. It's on this stage that style starts to show and new tricks are learnt every day.

The 90s

Experience, power and amazing tricks are the basis of the 90s category. Invitees between 22 and 30 will join the melee among the best in the world. The sessions are happening on the skate paradise that is Pedro's Bowl.

Old is gold.✨ This category is for skaters over the age of 30 – masters of their generation who are still living it and leading the way.
