If you are travelling by car from northern Italy, take the state road 16 towards Brindisi. For those travelling from southern Italy, take the state road 16 towards Bari.

If you are travelling by bus, Polignano a Mare can be reached through the regional lines of 'Ferrovie del Sud Est', operated by companies such as Flixbus, Marino, Lentini, Dover, Cotrap and Miccolis.

The closest airports are Bari or Brindisi, but travelling by car is recommended.
