Since reaching the biggest stage at the CrossFit Games for the first time in 2014, aged 24, few athletes anywhere in the world can claim to have been as consistently fit as American Noah Ohlsen, widely recognised as one of the sport’s most beloved stars.
It’s easy to see why. Since first taking up CrossFit in 2010, the Florida-based former water polo player only took four years to qualify for the CrossFit Games and since that 2014 debut until the 2023 edition he never failed to qualify for the event.
Once there on the grand stage, Noah never finished lower than 16th place in the 10 years of competing and scored no less than three top four performances.
Topping the list of his achievements was a brilliant second place finish at the 2019 edition in Madison, Wisconsin, behind male CrossFit’s great champion Matt Fraser and an overall global No.1 ranking during the 2016 season. With a string of No.1 rankings in regional series’ and events as well, Noah has long been one of the planet’s fittest men.
Now, after more than decade at the top of the individual rankings, Noah is taking on a new challenge – topping the global team rankings in CrossFit with his Peak 360 CrossFit team based of the gym in his hometown of Miami.
Now, Noah is competing in the World Fitness Project, a new global tour for professional functional fitness athletes. The league features a structured season, live events and a points-based system designed to bring consistency to the sport and Noah is set to become one of the series' major contenders.
