From a young age, Sam Hurley had two dreams: to emulate his older brothers and to touch the sky with his own wiiings.
Growing up in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Sam found inspiration in his family — particularly from his older brother, Hootie, who competed in pole vault. At 9 years old, Sam's parents saw his natural talent, prompting them to enroll him in competitive track and field, helping Sam to realize his passions.
