Given a task during an English class by her teacher, Zuza Bone was asked to assign sports to the words can and can’t. There was immediately one discipline that sprang to mind for the latter, and that was skateboarding. She immediately decided to do something about it and convinced her dad to buy her a skateboard. From that day on, Zuza and her board were never far apart.
“The more time I spent on the board, the more I was drawn to it,” she explains. “I knew it was something I could always run to when I was having a bad day. I met a huge group of great people that I would never have met had it not been for skateboarding.”
