In these days of ‘no budget’, tramline tours, and people getting paid in shoes, it is nice to break out and do something different. When things get a bit dry, a change of scenery and pace can be a welcome break, and it was with this in mind that one of the UK’s brightest talents, Dylan Hughes, jumped on the opportunity to explore Bulgaria with Irish skateboarding stalwart Paddy Maguire and two homegrown headcases.
Yavor Stoyanov and Kristian 'Kenny' Evtimov played host, guide and vibesmen to two international guests with an agenda to mix up the streetlife, high life and low life features of this awesome country with ballistic spots and a tight-knit scene.
Nick Richards was on hand to record this smoker from an all-out week of sunshine, late nights, long days and memories, which will last until those involved are gone.
