In case you missed the memo in Tahiti last year Jack Robinson sent plenty of reminders when the world tour hit his hometown of Margaret River last month: the kid is the real deal in waves of consequence.
The 17-year-old West Australian with the white-hot future was a stand-out no matter who he shared the line-up with, and the pixels burned on his waves would be enough to light up Times Square for a week.
We spoke to Jack recently to try and get inside the mind of the bright yet reserved young lad, and have paired his responses with a magnificent seven of Ryan Miller's finest frames from across the past six months. Dance to the soundtrack of the future!
