Following his 'Sunday School 2' mixtape, Tree is back with a booming new song called '32 Shots.'
It has been a good year so far for Chicago rapper -- and Red Bull Sound Select performer -- Tree. A few months ago, he dropped his excellent 'Sunday School 2' mixtape; he follwed that with a set at Pitchfork Music Festival, in his hometown of Chicago.
Now Tree has released a new single called '32 Shots.' Over a soulful and menacing beat thumping with heavy horns and smooth guitars, Tree unleashes a tragic, twisting crime narrative. It ends with a fire and an uncertain jump from a window.
It is not clear whether or not '32 Shots' will appear on Tree's next mixtape, and there is no word yet on what or when his next release will be. In the meantime, do yourself a favor and go listen to ' Sunday School 2.'
