All the members of Team Romania met Neymar Jr at the Paris Saint-Germain Football Club training ground for a once-in-a-lifetime moment. The young Brazilian took time to talk to the Romanian players, as well as sign shirts, balls and photos.

Back in July, Team Romania beat Great Britain in the final of the Neymar Jr's Five tournament which took place at the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr complex in Sao Paulo, Brazil. More than 100,000 players from 53 countries took part in the global tournament.
The most important thing is determination and talent, and I think these two things are the definition of success.

Neymar imparts some soccer wisdom

Team Romania were lucky enough to play a best-of-three friendly against Neymar Jr and some of his closest friends such as French football legend Djibril Cissé and Manchester City sensation Grabriel Jesus after their win in the world final, but they were still star-struck from yet another meeting with Neymar.
Following the rendezvous with Neymar, Team Romania attended the PSG vs OGC Nice French Ligue 1 game at the Parc des Princes while also sightseeing around the French capital.

A soccer bucket list moment

Neymar Jr's Five tournament will be back in 2018 with local qualifiers in multiple cities across the United States, stay tuned for locations and dates.
The competition's gameplay is set up as 5v5 matches played without a goalkeeper, last 10 minutes in duration and sees the team lose a player every time a goal is scored by the opposing team. The tournament is open to teams of five to seven players aged 16 to 25 with two players over 25 allowed into a squad. Team fees are only $30 ... that's right ONLY $30!
