The final instalment of our top quotes of the year sees the sporting achievements from the latter part of 2013 receive recognition, kicking off with a big moment for Serbian athletics.
My day has come. This is history. My country has invested a lot in me, and I managed to return that today. I believed in success all the way.

People do wild tricks here but at the same time a simple stylish turndown is just as respected. In my opinion that’s what BMX is. BMX is not always about going big and sending it, it’s about feeling good and doing what looks good on a bike and feels right.
The words of Mike 'Hucker' Clark after Vans Kill The Line 2013 in France, which he won. Check out the full interview with Clark at the Bike Channel.

I don't really know what I'm capable of. But I like to find out. You're out there taking big, dangerous falls. You're going up there and causing a ruckus on the wall, defying gravity, defying fear. It’s a new form of rebelliousness.
The fearless Sasha DiGiulian – the world's top ranked female outdoor climber – chatted to The Red Bulletin in October. You can read the interview with Sasha here.

It’s getting hard to make a full living off of BMX. My advice is to just go out and ride your bike like it's the first day you learned how. I know that might be hard, but at least try.
Alessandro Barbero made it big in the US in 2013 and the Bike channel spoke to the Italian in November about his career. See what he had to say here.

I'm training super hard for a new project […] I can't really say much at this point except that I have taken on some intensive training in preparations for this project. We're planning to go ahead at the end of January and it will be one of the biggest Red Bull projects for 2014. It’s going to be huge and I can’t wait!
It looks like next year will be another big one for Jon Durand, who will be attempting to emulate his record breaking acheivements of 2013 in a few short weeks' time. Find out more here.
