The Last Chance Cypher is the final competition on the road to the Red Bull BC One World Final. Taking place in the days before the actual world final, which this year takes place in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, all the Cypher winners from around the world come together to battle for the last spots in the Red Bull BC One World Final lineup.
The battle process is as follows: every Cypher winner takes part in a showcase battle from which the judges use to pick the best 16 breakers to advance to the next stage. The top 16 then battle it out in regular knockout battles until only the number of breakers are left who move on to the world final.
Like all Red Bull BC One competitions, the Last Chance Cypher has separate battles for b-girls and b-boys.
