Every open-world racing game needs a bit of variety. A selection of long races that showcase the game's map, off-road events that test your handling ability and faced-paced challenges that require intense focus are all included in The Crew Motorfest.
However, some races - or playlists in Motorfest’s case - are better than others. But which playlists are the best in The Crew Motorfest? We have the answer, with selections for various different categories.

What are playlists in The Crew Motorfest?

In The Crew Motorfest, races and events are bundled together into playlists. Each with a distinct theme, playlists run you through a series of races in a particular brand or style of vehicle.
You'll find Lamborghini focused playlists, one that only features cars that are more than 40 years old and some that focus on the intense world of motorsports. As you make your way through the races, you're given some background on the brands featured, earning themed rewards as you go.

One of our favourite playlists is the Red Bull Speed Clash playlist, which was added to The Crew Motorfest at the start of Season 6. As the first playlist to feature multi-discipline events, you can choose whether to jump into cars, a plane, or a motorcycle in some of the races to take on different vehicles on alternate tracks. A plane versus a bike at the same time, but on different tracks, is a lot of fun.

Starting from the Red Bull Playground in Maui, the Red Bull Speed Clash playlists sees you jump into some iconic Red Bull vehicles. Not only can you try your hand at flying a Red Bull air racing plane, but you also get the chance to jump into the RB20, which is the F1 car in which Max Verstappen won the world championship.

Best playlists for thrill seekers

While the Red Bull Speed Clash is great for thrill seekers, since you can race an F1 car against a plane, or vice versa, you also have other options for major thrills.
The previously referenced Motorsport playlist puts you in F1 cars to hit the highest speeds possible in the game. The cars are hard to handle, but can turn in an instant. You'll also need to manage your tyres and think about more beyond simply going quickly around a track. It's the perfect playlist for those of you who prioritise speed over everything else.
Elsewhere, the Hollywood Action playlist is one of the more unique in The Crew Motorfest, You take on the role of a lead stunt driver in a movie being shot in Hawaii and need to do what the director asks of you to get the perfect shot. You'll be jumping over fire, hitting top speeds and crashing into stuff on demand and there's a fun personality to the playlist that makes it stand out from the rest.

The most stylish playlists

If style points are what you're after, then there are two playlists that stand above the rest. Vintage Garage will make you think you're Roger Moore as 007, with every event featuring only cars from the 1950s to the 1980s. From old sports cars to instant classics, you’ll be racing in some of the most iconic vehicles of all time. Just don't scratch them!
On the opposite end of the scale is the intensely cool and contemporary Made in Japan playlist, where you'll be hitting neon-lit streets to face other drift kings. There's a real Need for Speed Underground feel to every race in the playlist, which is as stylish as you’re going to get. There's also a Made In Japan 2 playlist if you’re looking for a second helping.
05

Best playlists for progression

If you’re looking for playlists that allow you to progress as quickly as possible, there's one obvious choice. Most playlists offer the same XP total, so you’re not going to level up by playing one instead of another, but maximising the bucks you're earning will allow you to buy better cars for future playlists.

The Hawaii Scenic Tour Playlist is the best option for making money. It’s quick, easy and offers good rewards - and is beautiful to boot. If you’re looking for good car unlock rewards, hightail it to Maui to take on the Red Bull Speed Clash playlist, as you'll be rewarded for completing the playlist with a brand-new Red Bull-themed Ferrari that you can immediately take into other races.
While all of the playlists in The Crew Motorfest are fun, the variety means there’s something for everyone, no matter what you’re looking for.
